Benjamin Sacket, son of Captain Justus Sacket and Lydia Newcomb, was born in Kent, Connecticut, on 28 July 1762.1,2 He died on 14 July 1844.2 He married first at Kent, Connecticut, on 21 November 1782, Betsey Eldred.3,2 She was born in Connecticut in about 1761.4 She died on 9 March 1819.5 He married second on 5 October 1819, Mary Gaylord.5 She died in 1856.5
Benjamin Sacket served as a private in the American Revolutionary War.6
In 1790 Benjamin was living in Warren, Litchfield County, Connecticut. In his household were one man, three boys, and three females.7
