Lieutenant Daniel Sackett, son of William Sackett and Anne Lawrence, was born in Newtown, Long Island, New York, on 29 March 1759.1 He died in Old Milford, Connecticut, on 7 January 1822.1 He married in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut, on 16 June 1763, Martha Green.2,1
     Daniel Sackett served in the American Revolutionary War.
     The death on 8 April 1789 of a negro boy belonging to Daniel Sackett is recorded in the Milford vital records.3
