Joseph Sackett (1712-)

Samuel Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett, was born in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1747.¹ He died in Dutchess County, New York, on 20 August 1816.¹ He married in 1767, Thankful Wood, daughter of John Wood.¹
Samuel Sackett served in the American Revolutionary War in the 6th Dutchess County Regiment.
