Solomon Sackett, of New Haven and Norfolk, Connecticut, son of Capt. & Deacon Samuel Sackett and Lydia Heaton, was born in New Haven on 28 April 1748.1,2,3,4 He died in Norfolk, Litchfield County, on 8 August 1823.5,4 He was buried in the North End Cemetery, Norfolk.6 He married first before 1770, Mary ___.5 Mary was born in about 1748.3 She died aged 37 in North Haven, New Haven County, on 24 December 1784.3 He married second at North Haven on 12 February 1787, Ruth Hull, daughter of Benjamin Hull and Amy Hill.3 Ruth was born in New Haven on 27 November 1763.3 She died aged 25 in North Haven on 13 June 1789.3 He married third at North Haven in September 1790, Ruth Turner.3 Ruth was born in about 1755.3 She died aged 41 in North Haven on 27 March 1796.3 He married fourth at North Haven on 10 September 1797, Miriam Davis.3
     In 1790 Solomon was living in North Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. In his household were one man, two boys, and four females.7
