Mary Alling, daughter of Samuel Alling and Sarah Sackett, was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on 6 February 1706/7^1,2 and died there aged 81 on 18 February 1788.^3,2 She married there on 9 November 1732, Lieut Abraham Thompson, son of William Thompson and Martha ___.^4,2 Abraham was born in June 1711.²
