  1. [S467] Charles Weygant, The Sacketts of America, "74. Jonathan Sackett, m. Ruth Hotchkiss."
  2. [S404] Jacobus in The Hotchkiss Family gives a date of birth for Jonathan Sackett of 6 June 1655. This would effectively merge as one the two Jonathans, father and son, proposed by Weygant. If only one Jonathan existed, he would have been 33 years older than his wife Ruth Hotchkiss, and would have been 63 and 66 respectively at the births of his daughters. It would seem more likely that there were two Jonathans, although a birth record for the younger man has not been found.
