Jonathan Sacket, son of William Sacket and Hannah Graves, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, on 20 March 1695/961,2,3,4,5 and baptized at the Church of Christ, Westfield, on 21 April 1697.6 He died in Kent, Litchfield County, Connecticut, on 1 September 1773.1,7 He married first in Westfield in February 1721/22, Abigail Ashley.8,9,10 She died before the end of that year.8 He married second in Hebron, Connecticut, on 28 January 1724/25, Ann Filer, daughter of Samuel Filer and Abigail Phelps.1,11,12 Ann was born in about 1705.13 She died aged 81 in Warren, Litchfield County, Connecticut, on 8 March 1787.13
     Jonathan made his will in Kent, Litchfield County, Connecticut, on 12 June 1772, naming as beneficiaries his wife Ann, and his sons Justus, Jonathan and Reuben.
     Jonathan's widow Ann made her will in Litchfield County, Connecticut, in June 1783, naming as beneficiaries her sons Justus and Reuben, and her grandsons William Sackett, Filer Sacket, Jesse Sacket and Almeron Sacket. Her son Justus was appointed executor.
