Thomas Sackett, yeoman of St John in Thanet, son of Thomas Sackett and Catherine ___, was baptized at St Peter's Church, Thanet, Kent, on 18 August 1662.1 He married first at Patricksbourne, Kent, on 10 May 1693, Frances Cooke.2,3 Frances was born in about 1671.4 She died aged about 43 and was buried at St John's Church on 31 July 1714.5 Thomas married second in 1716 widow Martha (___) Violet of Dodington.6
     Thomas was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made in St John in Thanet on 1 January 1709/10.7,8
