About Fred:
Some have referred to me as being a world traveler. I have been in 46 states and 13 countries and I'm still adding to it. I was born in Atlanta and grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. After high school I attended technical school on electrical technology.
I then entered the Navy and spent 4 years aboard the Aircraft Carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt CVA 42. I made two Mediterranean Cruises. Whenever we went into a new port, I would always sign up for whatever tours were available for that port. In doing so I got to see a lot of the countryside and how the people over there lived.
After I left the navy, I went to work in a cabinet shop building cabinets, and helped my father with his hardware store. I then worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Tech for about 7 years. I am an outdoors person and like to be able to move around. I went into farming and found out what work was really like. Sun up to sun down and then a lot more.
I am a licensed Private Pilot, Real-estate Sales Assoc, and Pre Paid Legal Sales Associate. I have run a sawmill and planer mill. My wife and I Sawed and Dressed all the lumber in our home. I was captain of a 47 ft. motor yacht. I own property in 5 states.
My Wife of 30 years this year is a school teacher. My Daughter attends the Medical College of Georgia and is studying to be a physical therapist.
