Rachel Elisabeth Sackett, daughter of John Sackett and Mary Mead, was born on 20 December 1811.1,2 She died aged 73 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 18 July 18851,2 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church Cemetery, Greenwich.2 She married in Greenwich on 31 December 1838, Charles Mead, son of Jonas Mead and Hannah ___.1,3
     Rachel was baptized as an adult on 23 January 1831 and admiited to membership of the Second Congregational Church.4,5
