Lyman Sackett, son of Justus Sackett and Clarissa Belcher, was born on 13 May 18181,2,3 and baptized at the Second Congregational Church, Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 15 August 1818.4 He died aged 22 at his brother Amos's home in New York on 17 April 18415,2 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church Cemetery.2 He married Lydia Ostrander.1
     Lyman was admitted to membership of the Second Congregational Church on 3 July 1831.6
