Amos Mead Sackett, son of Justus Sackett and Clarissa Belcher, was born on 29 December 18121 and baptized at the Second Congregational Church, Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 10 September 1815.2 He died aged 56 in May 1869.1 He married in New York City on 31 August 1834, Sarah Elisabeth Adeline Mead, daughter of States Morris Mead and Lydia Holmes.1 Sarah was born in 18061 and died aged about 86 in 1892.1
