William Henry Sackett, son of Justus Sackett and Clarissa Belcher, was born on 27 January 1807.1 He was baptized at the Second Congregational Church, Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 10 September 1815, and was admitted to membership there on 2 March 1823.2,3 He died aged 78 on 29 January 1885.1,4 He married on 10 June 1830, Amanda Harper, daughter of Samuel Barker Harper and Christine Arcularius.1 Amanda was born in 18091 and died on 15 February 1870.1,5
