John Sackett, of St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent, whose parents have not been identified, was born, presumably in Thanet, Kent, in say 1610. He was buried at St Peter's Church, Thanet, Kent, on 13 March 1676/77, his burial being recorded in both St Lawrence and St Peter's, in the latter of which he was described as "of St Lawrence."1,2,3
