Eliza Sackett, daughter of John Henry Sackett and Elizabeth Catherine Meinert, was born in Bermondsey, Surrey, in 1841.1 She married at St Matthew's Church, Bethnal Green, Middlesex, on 19 June 1859, William Elijah Pitchford.2,3
     In 1841 Eliza was living at 10 James Place, St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, Surrey, in the household of her parents John and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Eliza Sacket, aged four months and born in Surrey.4
     In 1851 she was living at 14 Moreton Terrace, Rotherhithe, Surrey, in the household of her parents John, a barge builder, and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Eliza Sackett, aged ten and born in Bermondsey.5
