Samuel Sackett, son of Cyrus Sacket and Nancy Anne Stapleton, was born in Bellbrook, Greene County, Ohio, on 5 November 1799.1,2 He died in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, Indiana, on 8 August 1856.1 He married first in Montgomery County, Ohio, on 10 May 1821, Isabella Moore, daughter of Daniel Moore and Rachel Parks.2,1 He married second in Adams County, Indiana, on 28 March 1837, Julia Ann Heath.1
