Frank William Sylvester Sackett, son of John Ashby Sackett and Elizabeth ___, was born in Thanet, Kent, in 1869.1 He died in Maidstone, Kent, in 1944.2 He married in Brentford, Middlesex, in 1893, Lily Churm.3,4 She was born in Shropshire in about 1871.5
In 1871 Frank was living at 19 Chapel Place, Ramsgate, Kent, in the household of his parents John and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Frank Sackett, aged 2, and born in Ramsgate.6
In 1881 he was living at 24 Southwood Terrace, St Lawrence, Kent, in the household of his sister Annie and her husband Edward Moody, and was recorded as Frank Sackett, a scholar, aged 12, and born in Ramsgate.7
In 1901 he was living at 2 Hunt Street, Chiswick, Middlesex, and was recorded as Frank Sackett, head of household, a labourer at the soap works, married, aged 31 and born in Ramsgate, Kent. Living with him were his wife Lily, aged 29 and born in Shropshire, and their children, Frank (6) and Ellen (2).5
