Frederick Henry Sackett, son of Frederick Charles Sackett and Clarissa Mary Wood, was born in Thanet, Kent, in 1893.1 He died aged 23 in France on 20 September 1916.2,3 He was buried at the Mont Huon Military Cemetery, Le Treport, France.4
Frederick enlisted in the First World War in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, serving as a Private. He was killed in action on the Western Front in France. His brother Richard had also been killed in action, just three days earlier.
