Captain Norman Sackett, of New Lebanon, Columbia County, New York, son of Major Buell Sackett and Sally Earl Beach, was born on 27 March 1791.¹ He died on 11 July 1868.¹ He married in September 1817, Esther Waterman, 1799-1851.¹
Norman Sackett was a commissioned officer in the 72nd Regiment, Columbia County Militia, for several years from 1819.
