William Dwight Sackett, son of Lieutenant Martin Sacket and Miriam Bancroft, was born in South Plymouth, Chenango County, New York StateG, on 22 March 1808.1 He died aged 74 in Canastota, Madison County, New York StateG, on 2 March 1883.1 He married on 21 February 1834, Julia Ann Harrington, daughter of William Harrington and Betsey Hemenway.1
     William was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Plymouth, Chenango CountyG.2

1103. William Dwight Sackett, 1808–1883, son of (500) Lieut. Martin Sackett and Miriam Bancroft, was married, Feb. 21, 1834, to Julia Ann Harrington, 1809–1890, daughter of William Harrington and Betsey Hemenway. Mr. Sackett was born near South Plymouth, N. Y., and died at Canastota, N. Y. He was by occupation a farmer, and by religious faith a Methodist.
