Mary Elisabeth Sackett, daughter of Samuel Sackett and Mary Bailey, was born in Orange County, New York StateG, on 4 March 1809.1,2 She died aged 75 on 29 August 1884.1 She was unmarried.
     In 1850 Mary, aged 40, was living in New Windsor, Orange County, New York StateG, with her brother William and mother Mary.3
     Mary was listed in the 1855 New York census as Elizabeth M Sacket, aged 35 (she would have been 45), living with her brother Frederick and their mother Mary.4
     In 1875 she was living in New WindsorG in the household of her brother Frederick, 60, a tract peddler, and was recorded as Mary E Sackett, aged 65, single.5
