Pio Sacchetti, later Peter Sackett, was born in Preturo, Provincia di L'Aquila, Abruzzo, ItalyG, on 27 January 1897.1 He died in Elmhurst, DuPage County, IllinoisG, on 24 November 1985.1 He married in Chicago, Cook County, IllinoisG, on 6 February 1927, Mary Asciutto.1 Mary was born in ChicagoG on 18 December 1907.1
In 1950 Pio was living at 6831 31st Street, Berwyn, Cook County, IllinoisG, and was recorded in the census as Peter Sackett, proprietor of a barber shop, aged 48 and born in Italy. Living with him were his wife Mary, 42, and their sons, Daniel, 17, and Vincent, aged four.2
