Frederick Curl, son of John Curl and Elizabeth Mary Sackett, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 15 June 1906.1,2
     In 1911 Frederick was living at 61 Chelmsford Street, FulhamG, in the household of his parents John and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Frederick Curl, aged four and born in Fulham.3
     In 1921 he was living at 61 Chelmsford Street, FulhamG, in the household of his widowed mother Mary, and was recorded as Fredrick Curl, a grocer's assistant, aged 15.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frederick was living at 61 Chelmsford Street, FulhamG. He was a railway fitters assistant, aged 33. His widowed mother Mary, 63, and sister Mary, 37, were living with him.5
