Hon Hobart Sterling Sacket, son of Edward Sacket and Cornelia E Beckwith, was born in New York StateG on 14 February 1844.1,2 He married on 7 March 1867, Martha Ann Farley, daughter of Robert Farley and Jane McClellan.1
     In 1850 Hobart was living in Hounsfield, Jefferson County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Edward and Cornelia, and was recorded in the census as Hobart S Sackett, aged six and born in New York.3
     In 1860 he was living in Chicago, Cook County, IllinoisG, in the household of his father Edward and stepmother Louisa, and was recorded as Hobart Sacket, aged 16.4

2016. Hon. Hobart Sterling Sacket, 1844–, of Berlin, Wis., son of (783) Edward and Cornelia Beckwith Sacket, was married, Mar. 7, 1867, to Martha Ann Farley, 1848-, daughter of Robert Farley and Jane McClellan. He succeeded his father in the cranberry business. Politically he is a Republican, and has held the offices of School Commissioner, Alderman, Mayor, Judge of Municipal Court, Member of Assembly, and State Senator. He has also represented the Republicans of his district in two National Conventions.
