Georgiana Sackett, daughter of Isaac H Sackett and Anna Harding, was born in Dutchess County, New York StateG, in about 1854.1 She married first George Ward. She married second in Stanfordville, Dutchess CountyG, on 13 December 1890, Horace Hover.2 Horace was born in about 1839.1
In 1865 Georgiana was living in Stanford, Dutchess CountyG, in the household of her parents Isaac and Ann, and was recorded in the census as Georgiana Sackett, aged eleven and born in Dutchess County.3
In 1870 she was living in Glastonbury, Hartford County, ConnecticutG, in the household of Jane Grant, 42, a dressmaker, and was recorded as Georgiana Sackett, a dressmaker, aged 16 and born in New York.4
In 1892 she was living in Washington, Dutchess County, New York StateG, in the household of her husband Horace, 53, a mason, and was recorded as Georgie Hover, aged 38. Living with them were five of Horace's children from his first marriage and Georgiana's children, Albert Ward, 10, and Nettie Ward, 8, from her first marriage.5
