Warren Syers, son of David Alexander Syers and Louisa Sackett, was born in MichiganG in about 1863.1
     In 1870 Warren was living in Jamestown, Ottawa County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Alexander and Louisa, and was recorded in the census as Warren Syers, aged seven and born in Michigan.2
     In 1880 he was living in Holton, Muskegon County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Alexander and Louise, and was recorded as Wilber Sayers, aged 18. (It is assumed from the age that this was Warren). He was working on the family farm.3
