Jane E Riggs, daughter of Daniel Riggs and Polly Sackett, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1833.1 She married ___ Woodworth. He died before 1880.
     In 1850 Jane was living in Woodbury, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of her mother Polly, and was recorded in the census as Jane Riggs, aged 17 and born in Connecticut.2
     In 1880 Jane was living in Seymour, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, and was recorded in the census as Jane E Woodworth, a worker in the paper mill, a widow, aged 47 and born in Connecticut. Her widowed mother Polly Riggs, 83, was living with her. Also in the household was a boarder, Henry Buckingham, 51.3
