Richard Sackett

(say 1500-after 1557)
Richard Sackett, presumably of Thanet, Kent, was born in say 1500. He may have been the father (or perhaps grandfather) of Richard Sackett who died at Minster in Thanet in 1604 leaving at least two tenements there, together with several land holdings.
     Richard was named as a beneficiary in his brother Thomas's will made in Minster in ThanetG, on 3 April 1557. He was left ten acres of land in Minster and a chest.1
