Irene M Sackett, daughter of Fred Leroy Sackett and Mary E Roberts, was born in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, on 28 September 1900.1
     In 1910 Irene was living at Birch Street, Quincy, Norfolk County, MassachusettsG, in the household of John Ross, a master printer, and family, and was recorded in the census as Irene Sackett, a boarder, aged nine and born in Massachusetts. Her brother Frederick, 10, was also living there.2
     In 1920 she was living in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, in the household of her widowed mother Mary, and was recorded as Irene M Sackett, a telegraph operator, aged 19 and born in Massachusetts.3
