Emily Sackett, daughter of Jeremiah Sackett and Dinah Farley, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, in 18441,2 and baptized at St Lawrence in ThanetG on 1 September 1844.3 She died aged 72 in 19164 and was buried at St Lawrence in ThanetG.5 She married at Ramsgate Christ Church, KentG, on 29 January 1889, Henry Holloway.6,7
In 1851 Emily was living at Pegwell, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, in the household of her parents Jeremiah and Dinah, and was recorded in the census as E Sackett, a scholar, aged six, and born in St. Lawrence.8
In 1871 she was living at 23 Alexander Villas, Cumberland Road, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her mother Dinah, and was recorded as Emily Sackett, a dressmaker, unmarried, aged 26, and born in Ramsgate.9
In 1881 she was living at 25 Cumberland Road, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her widowed mother Dinah, and was recorded as Emily Sackett, a dressmaker, unmarried, aged 36 and born in Ramsgate.10
In 1891 she was living at 25 Cumberland Road, RamsgateG, in the household of her husband Henry, 63, of independent means, and was recorded as Emily Holloway, aged 45 and born in Ramsgate.11
