Jane Sackett, daughter of Edward Brewer Sackett and Jane Bax, was born in St Peter in Thanet, KentG, on 7 May 18641,2 and baptized at St Peter in ThanetG on 12 June 1864.1 She married in ThanetG in 1885, Walter Henry Ladd.3,4
     In 1871 Jane was living at 1 Blackstone Cottages, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Jane Sackett, a scholar, aged 7 and born in St Peter's, daughter of Edward Sackett.5
