George Washington Sackett, son of David William Sackett and Sarah Ellen Ray, was born in Manistee County, MichiganG, on 7 November 1885.1 He died aged 77 in Yuma, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 24 January 1963.2,3 He married in about 1920, Nettie Marie Shetterly.3,4 Nettie was born on 29 November 1903.3 She died aged 66 in Wexford County, MichiganG, on 27 October 1970.3
     George completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 32 and was living in Harrietta, Wexford County, MichiganG. He was a farm worker.1
