Hugo Sakett

(early 1400s-in or after 1479)
Hugo Sakett, of St Peter in Thanet, Kent, was born presumably in the early 1400s. He died in or after 1479.
He was appointed executor of the will of Thomas Sakett made at Minster in Thanet in January 1474. He was also named in the will dated 15 August 1479 of John Sakett, smith of St Peter in Thanet. The naming of Hugo in John's will and the fact that they made their wills within a day of each other suggests that John and Hugo would have been closely related.
Hugo made his will at St Peter in ThanetG on 16 August 1479. Named in the will were Solomon Sakett (as a beneficiary), William Sakett (relationship unknown), and Johanne (not identified.)1,2
