Claude Leonard Alfred Sackett, son of Alfred Francis Sackett and Edith Emily Atkins, was born in Wandsworth, LondonG, on 12 December 1910.1,2 He died aged 36 in St Pancras, LondonG, in 19463 and was buried at St Pancras CemeteryG on 2 April 1946.4 He married in Edmonton, MiddlesexG, in 1936, Lena Alma Pieri.5,6 Lena was born on 15 June 1915.2
     In 1911 Claude was living at 224 Putney Bridge Road, High Street, Putney, Wandsworth, LondonG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Edith, and was recorded in the census as Claude Lennard Alfred Sackett, aged less than one year and born in Putney.7
     In 1921 he was living at 76 Felsham Road, WandsworthG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Edith, and was recorded as Claud Leonard Alfred Sackett, aged ten.8
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Claude and Lena were living at 3 Carysfort Road, Hornsey, MiddlesexG. Claude was a chef and also a police reservist.9
