Albert Joseph Sackett, son of Richard John Sackett and Alma Horwood, was born in West Ham, EssexG, on 29 April 19061,2 and baptized at Holy Trinity, Leytonstone, EssexG, on 23 May 1906.3 He died aged about 77 in Westminster, LondonG, in 1983.2 He married in WestminsterG in 1937, Doris Flora Salter.4,5 Doris was born in Marylebone, LondonG, on 2 September 19136 and died aged 75 in WestminsterG on 29 August 1989.7
     In 1921 Albert was living at 56 Holloway Road, Leytonstone, LondonG, in the household of his parents Richard and Alma, and was recorded in the census as Albert Sackett, an iron and wire worker, aged 15.8
     Doris left a will which was proved in Birmingham on 24 November 1989. Her last address was 25 Barlby Road, North Kensington, LondonG.9
