Ivy Martha Louisa Sackett, daughter of Ernest Henry Sackett and Rosetta Paine, was born in Edmonton, MiddlesexG, on 29 October 19051,2 and died aged 83 in Ashford, KentG, in November 1988.3 She was unmarried.
     In 1911 Ivy was living at 4 Underdown Cottages, Wincheap Street, Canterbury, KentG, in the household of her parents Ernest and Rosetta, and was recorded in the census as Ivy Martha Sackett, aged five.4
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Ivy was a domestic servant in the household of a Rowe family at 36 Fore Street, Newquay, CornwallG.5
