George Jeremiah Thomas Sackett, son of George Sackett and Mary Ann Bradford, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 31 January 19011,2 and baptized at St Peter's Church, FulhamG, on 7 April 1901.3 He died aged 64 in FulhamG in 1965.4 He married in FulhamG in 1922, Margaret Ethel Hoare, daughter of William Burgess Hoare and Charlotte ___.5,6 Margaret was born in Edmonton, LondonG, on 28 January 18997,8,2 and baptized at All Hallows Church, Tottenham, LondonG, on 14 May 1899.9 She died aged 84 in Kingston upon Thames, SurreyG, in 1983.10
     In 1911 George was living at 42 Orbain Road, FulhamG, in the household of his parents George and Mary, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, a schoolboy, aged ten and born in Fulham.11
     In 1921 he was living at 87 St Olaf Road, FulhamG, in the household of his parents George and Mary, and was recorded as George Sackett, a motor driver, aged 20.12
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, George was a lorry driver. He and Margaret were living at 87 St Olaf Road, Fulham, LondonG, with George's parents George and Mary.13
