Edna May Sackett, daughter of Henry Sackett and Jane Tansley, was born in Plaistow, EssexG, on 9 July 19001,2 and baptized at St Mary, PlaistowG, on 29 July 1900.3 She married in Greenwich, LondonG, in 1919, Albert E Schooley.4,5
     In 1901 Edna was living at 12 Philip Street, West Ham, EssexG, in the household of her parents Henry and Jenny, and was recorded in the census as Edna M Sackett, aged eight months and born in Plaistow.6
     In 1911 she was living at 106 Lower Road, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, LondonG, and was recorded as Edna May Sackett, a schoolgirl, aged ten and born in Canning Town. She was with her mother Jane/Jenny as a visitor in the household of Thomas Walker.7
