Hilda Winifred Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Eva Julia Budge, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, in 1891.1 She was baptized at St George's Church, Ramsgate, KentG, on 8 February 1891.2
     In 1901 Hilda was living at 329 Kennington Road, Lambeth, LondonG, in the household of her uncle Alfred Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Hilda Sackett, aged ten and born in Ramsgate.3
     In 1921 she was living at Alma Court Hotel, Russell Square, Bloomsbury, LondonG, and was recorded as Hilda Winifred Sackett, a chambermaid, aged 29.4
