Emily Judith Sackett, daughter of Arthur Edward Sackett and Elizabeth Gosling, was born in Stratford, West Ham, EssexG, on 10 September 18801,2 and baptized at St John, StratfordG, on 21 November 1880.3 She died aged 71 in Westminster, LondonG, in 1951.4 She was unmarried.
     In 1881 Emily was living at 92 High Street, West HamG, in the household of her parents Arthur and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Emily J Sackett, aged six months and born in Stratford.5
     In 1891 she was living at 92 High Street, Stratford, West HamG, in the household of her parents Arthur and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Emily J Sackett, a scholar, aged ten and born in Stratford.6
     In 1901 she was living at 92 High Street, West HamG, in the household of her parents Arthur and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Emily Sacket, a draper's assistant, single, aged 20 and born in Stratford.7
     In 1911 she was living at 162 Grove Green Road, Leytonstone, EssexG, in the household of Charlotte Housden, and was recorded as Emily Sackett, a house servant, single, aged 28 and born in Stratford. Her sister Ada Davis, a teacher, was boarding in the house.8
     In 1921 she was living at 68 Marsham Street, Westminster, LondonG, in the household of J Sayers, licensed victualler, and was recorded as Emily Sackett, a barmaid, aged 32 [actually 40].9
