Sydney Sackett, son of Walter John Sackett and Sarah Elizabeth Mills, was born in Aston, WarwickshireG, in 1854.1 He was baptized at Bordesley, WarwickshireG, on 6 July 1857.2 He died aged 22 in Prestwich, LancashireG, in 1876.3
     In 1861 Sydney was living at 9 Highgate, Aston, Birmingham, WarwickshireG, in the household of his widowed father Walter, and was recorded in the census as Sydney Sackett, a scholar, aged seven and born in Birmingham.4
