Hannah Sackett, daughter of Calvin Pardee Sackett and Hannah Douglass, was born on 9 May 1819.1,2 She married in Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York StateG, on 13 April 1841, James Bush. Hannah may have been engaged at a much earlier date to the brother of Emiline Shaw who married Hannah's brother Calvin, the Stephentown diarist noting in the record of Calvin's marriage, "... and Hannah will be [married] if she can to Emiline's brother."1,3,4,5
