Jane Aurelia "Jennie" Sackett, daughter of Heman Sacket and Cordelia A Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 14 August 1845.1,2 She died aged 52 in Springfield, Hampden CountyG, on 31 January 1898 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.3,4 She married in WestfieldG on 24 March 1870, Edward G Bacon, son of William G Bacon and Henrietta D ___.1,5 Edward was born in East Granville, Hampden CountyG, in about 1844.6 He died aged about 93 in WestfieldG on 15 January 1938 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.3
     In 1850 Jane was living in WestfieldG in the household of her parents Heman and Cordelia, and was recorded in the census as Jane A Sackett, aged five.7
     In 1860 she was living in WestfieldG in the household of her parents Heman and Cordelia, and was recorded as Jennie Sackett, aged 14.8
     In 1880 Jane was living at Grosvenor Street, SpringfieldG, in the household of her husband Edward G Bacon, a soap manufacturer, aged 35, and was recorded in the census as Jennie Bacon, aged 34. Living with them were their daughter Etta, aged three months, and Jennie's widowed mother Cordelia Sackett, aged 58.9
