Charles Harold Sackett, son of Frederick Charles Sackett and Mary Wackrill, was born in Bury St Edmunds, SuffolkG, on 9 August 1906.1 He died aged 79 in the Chester & Ellesmere Port registration district, CheshireG, on 26 February 19862 and was cremated at Chester CrematoriumG on 4 March 1986.3,4 He married in St Asaph, DenbighshireG, on 3 October 1931, Jeannie Gerrard Bell, daughter of William Bell and Jane ___.5 Jeannie was born in Kinfauns, Perth, ScotlandG, on 20 May 1903.6,7 She died aged 86 in Maidstone, KentG, on 27 September 1989.8,9
     In 1911 Charles was living at 25 Copthorne Road, Wolverhampton, StaffordshireG, in the household of his parents Frederick and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Charles Harold Sackett, aged four and born in Bury St Edmunds.10
     In 1921 he was living at 24 Egerton Road, Heaton Norris, Stockport, CheshireG, in the household of his parents Frederick and Mary, and was recorded as Charles H Sackett, aged 14.11
     Jeannie left a will which was proved in Brighton on 26 October 1989. Her last address was Place Farm, Hartlip, Sittingbourne, KentG.9
