Frederick Sackett, son of George Edward Sackett and Rosa Wilson, was born in Margate, KentG, on 12 May 19121,2,3 and baptized at St John in ThanetG on 7 July 1912.2 He died aged 61 in Enfield, LondonG, on 15 March 19744,5 and was buried at Cheshunt Cemetery, HertfordshireG, on 21 March 1974.6 He married in Thanet, KentG, in 1936, Ivy Lilian Flint.7,8 Ivy was born in Stepney, LondonG, on 12 January 1916.9,10 She died aged 70 in Enfield, LondonG, on 2 June 198611 and was buried at Cheshunt CemeteryG on 9 June 1986.12
     In 1921 Frederick was living at 7 Beatrice Road, MargateG, in the household of his parents George and Rosa, and was recorded in the census as Frederick Sackett, aged ten and born in Margate.13
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frederick and Ivy were living at Tauria, Nash Road, Margate, KentG. Frederick was a motor driver.14
