Thomas Sackett, son of Henry Sackett and Annie Kelly, was born in St Olave Bermondsey, LondonG, on 10 May 1906.1,2,3 He had a twin sister, Mary. He died aged 59 at Edgware General Hospital, Hendon, LondonG, on 25 February 1966.2,4,5 He married at St Olave BermondseyG in 1932, Grace Matilda Baston, daughter of Percy John Baston and Matilda E ___.6,7 Grace was born in HendonG on 30 January 19098,9,3 and died there aged 80 in August 1989.2,10
     In 1911 Thomas was living at 40 Janeway Street, BermondseyG, in the household of his parents Henry and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Tom Sackett, a schoolboy, aged five and born in Bermondsey.11
     In 1921 he was living at 40 Janeway Street, BermondseyG, in the household of his widowed mother Annie, and was recorded as Tom Sackett, a porter in a tea warehouse, aged 15.12
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Thomas and Grace were living at 88 Aspinall Road, Deptford, LondonG. Thomas was a clerical salesman and Grace a shirt machinist. Grace's father Percy was living next door.13
     Administration of Thomas's estate was granted on 25 March 1966 to his widow Grace. His estate was valued at £6,169.14
