Harriet Ann Sackett, daughter of Henry "Harry" Sackett and Mary Shill, was born in St Peter in Thanet, KentG, in 18741,2 and baptized at St Peter in ThanetG on 5 January 1874.2 She married in Dover, KentG, in 1899, ___ ___.3
     In 1881 Harriet was living at 1 Sycamore Cottage, St Peter's, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Harriet Ann Sackett, a scholar, aged 7 and born in St Peter's, daughter of Henry Sackett.4
     In 1891 she was living at St Peter in Thanet, KentG, in the household of Alfred H Hance, 48, a newspaper manager, and was recorded as Harriet A Sackett, housemaid, single, aged 17 and born in St Peter's.5
