Charles Francis Wicksteed Sandford, son of Rev Henry Stanley Sandford and Sarah Annie "Daisy" Sackett, was born in Burley in Wharfedale, YorkshireG, in 1905.1,2 He died aged 57 in Sheffield, YorkshireG, in 1962.3
     In 1911 Charles was living at Saintesbury, 2 Buchanan Street, Ramsbottom, LancashireG, in the household of his parents Henry and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Charles Francis Wicksteed Sandford, aged five and born in Burley in Wharfedale.4
