Eliza Sackett, daughter of John Sackett and Lucinda Moseley, was born on 25 August 17941 and baptized at the Church of Christ, Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 3 November 1799.2 She died aged 69 on 27 April 1864.1 She married at the First Church, WestfieldG, on 5 December 1816, Homer Preston, son of John Preston and Eunice Moody.3,4,1,5
     In 1850 Eliza was living at Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in the household of her parents John and Lucinda, and was recorded in the census as Eliza Preston, aged 56, and born in Massachusetts.6
