Elaine Mendel Sackett, 82, of Atlanta, died Thursday, April 30, 2009. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Sunday, May 3rd, 2009.
Mrs. Sackett was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Sackett. Elaine Sackett will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She inspired everyone who knew her with her courage, kindness and contagious laughter.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Jerry Banks and Sandy Kaufman and Art Baum; son and daughter-in-law Gordon and Rosie Singer; Stepdaughters Janet Harris and Rhonda Beinart; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
